We recently changed the process for running evaluation reports for courses facilitated through MHFA Connect. While we are currently in the process of updating the MHFA Connect User Guide to include this most recent update, we ask that you use the steps outlined below.
- To start, log in to MHFA Connect (https://connect.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/).
- Select Reports from the Primary Navigation Menu on the left side of the screen.
- Select Create Report.
- Select Survey.
- Leave Surveys as the report type
- Choose the Output Format - either Charts or Transcripts
- Charts will provide evaluation feedback and data in a visual format (i.e., pie charts or bar charts), with one chart per question. If you’ve chosen Output Format as Charts, you can only select one course at a time.
- Transcripts will give data sets that can be exported to Excel, with one line per question. If you’ve chosen Output Format as Transcripts, you can select one, multiple, or all the courses that were taught.
- The Courses dropdown will display all courses in which the instructor is Instructor 1.
-
Date From and Date To filters limit your selection to a specific date range.
- Note: This filter applies to the date the survey was submitted, not the date of the Instructor-led training.
- When a First Aider course is selected, additional checkboxes appear, one for each of the surveys that are part of the First Aider curriculum: Pre-evaluation, post-evaluations, and opinions quiz (if applicable).
- For course and Instructor feedback, check Post-evaluation.
- To compare the pre-and post-course knowledge check questions and confidence questions, check Post-evaluation and Pre-evaluation: Knowledge Check.
- Do not check Opinions Quiz!
Please note that only the primary instructor and assigned coordinator (if applicable) can run evaluation reports for courses facilitated in MHFA Connect. Please let me know if further assistance is needed with this matter.
